NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD

Is any thing too hard for the Lord? Genesis 18:14

Sometimes  life's conditions and our human limitations provide  us with too many difficulties for us to answer this question in the affirmative. The study of God's Word and belief in it is the only panacea to this human problem.
In our Scripture reading today, Sarah could not believe it was possible by any means for her to deliver her own child. She was ninety years old and her hubby was ten years older. Biologically speaking Sarah was right and it would also have been socially unbearable. Imagine a lady of Sarah's age in a maternity dress walking to the market, that would be a public spectacle and she would be in everyone's mouth. Hence Sarah laughed when the Angel pronounced to Abraham that such a time next year she would be cuddlling a baby boy called Isaac. Her response was to laugh at both the impracticality and impossibility of the promise of the Lord.
Many promises in the Bible appear impossible to us because of the environment we live in and our minds that have suffered abuse by incessant poverty. We make a terrible mistake of looking at ourselves and the situations around us instead of "Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith" Hebrews 12: 2
Sarah's laughter was not one of faith like Abraham's (Genesis 17:17) but of doubt. When you read the promises of God in the Bible do you also laugh, I mean doubt them? It is very important to check your kind of laughter. A doubtful response to the promises of God is a foolish laughter, " For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity." Ecclesiastes 7:6
God is offended by our unbelief and a case in point is Zacharias. He doubted God's promise that his wife Elisabeth would bear him a son: " Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years." Luke 1:18. God was so offended by this unbelief by Zacharias that He had to act, "... thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed because thou believest not my words which shall be fulfilled in their season." Luke 1:20.
Dear reader, our God is the God of the supernatural. There is no promise that He cannot fulfill. There is no sickness He cannot heal and if He does not heal you it is not because of His inability but because it also glorifies Him " For my strenghth is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12: 9
God wants you to trust Him and not focus on your past failures. He is not interested in a colorful resume but your trust in His wonder working power. He says to you this day, " Fear not,_________ (fill the blank with your name): I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." Genesis 15: 1
There is nothing in your life that is too hard for God!
Your salvation is possible with God,
Your healing is possible with God,
Your career or business is possible with God,
Your ministry is possible with God,
Your soul winning is possible with God,
Your church- planting is possible with God,
With God all things are possible!
AMEN.
